Michelle Poirier Langille, BSN, RN, SANE-A Receiving Resilience Award

Concord Hospital is pleased to announce that SANE Program Coordinator Michelle Poirier Langille, BSN, RN, SANE-A, was awarded the Thrive Survivor Support Center Resilience Award. The award was given by Thrive, formerly the Crisis Center of Central NH, at their 2nd Annual Resilience Breakfast.

This is a well-deserved honor for Michelle and her leadership of our SANE program,” said Jody Murphy, administrative director of acute and inpatient medical services. “Her dedication to assisting survivors and compassion in the face of trauma instills hope for victims during their darkest times. We could not be more proud of her unwavering commitment to her work and for the partnerships she has forged with organizations like Thrive, which offer hope and support for sexual assault victims throughout the state.”

Poirier Langille joined Concord Hospital health system in 2012 as an emergency department (ED) psychiatric nurse, where she became a sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) in 2013, then later assumed the role of SANE program manager. She was elevated to her current role as ED nurse manager in 2022. Poirier-Langille holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rivier University and is a nationally certified sexual assault nurse examiner and intimate partner violence examiner from the International Association of Forensic Nurses.

She also partnered with New Hampshire’s SANE program to provide training on forensic nursing both statewide and regionally. We are incredibly proud of our partnership with her, and for the dedication and compassion she brings to her work!”
